EPIC'S GLASSMAN ANNOUNCES PROMO RESTRUCTURING

Now it's official: Epic has restructured its Promotion department, with Dennis Reese coming aboard as SVP Promo, Sujit Kundu promoted to SVP Promo and Sandra Afloarei and Scott Dimig upped to VPs of Top 40 and Top 40/Dance, respectively, EVP Promo Todd Glassman has announced.

Reese, who will be based in Los Angeles, joins from Capitol Music Group, where he'd served since 2004, most recently as SVP Promo. He and NYC-based Kundu will report directly to Glassman, while Afloarei and Dimig will report to Reese.

"This timely restructure of the Epic Records Promotion Department sets the bar high with a new standard of excellence in the industry,” reads Glassman's quote. “Dennis and Sujit bring a world of high-level experience with them at a crucial time in Epic history. Sandra and Scott are long time veterans of Epic with a solid grounding in our artist roster which is second to none. Together, they bring clarity to L.A. Reid’s hopes and dreams for Epic, and a revitalized energy to all the Promotion Department’s future endeavors.”

Declared Reese, "The chance to join Epic under the vision of L.A. Reid is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. Todd and his promotion team have done an amazing job and I’m fortunate to call Epic my new home.”

Afloarei and Dimig also praised their fearless leaders and vowed to use the #BeEpic hashtag liberally. The entire promo then joined hands for a team-building chant of "Hey Buddy."
