UMPG DIVES FOR PEARL JAM

Jody Gerson’s UMPG has inked a worldwide pub deal with rockers Pearl Jam, which will encompass the band’s entire catalog, new material and solo works by frontman Eddie Vedder. The band has sold some 60 million albums globally and banked five #1s, including most recent album Lightning Bolt (Monkeywrench/Republic).

Gerson praised the band’s ability to “inspire and influence their fans throughout the world with incredible songs and a multitude of worthy causes. We are delighted that they have entrusted us with their amazing catalog and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their evolving career that will endure for decades to come.”

Added manager Kelly Curtis, "I'm thrilled to finally have a great partner that I can entrust with the legacy of the Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder catalogs. I'm excited for what lies ahead with UMPG.”

Pearl Jam will embark on an arena and stadium tour of North America this year, with headlining spots at Bonnaroo and the New Orleans Jazz Festival.

To celebrate the pact, Gerson donned a vintage flannel and executed a stage dive off a stack of Marshall amps.
