HAVE DIVERSITY ISSUES BESET THE GRAMMYS?

Page Six posted an item Friday night headlined “Grammys only honoring dead white musicians in tribute lineup.” The item alleges that the Grammys are under fire by “industry insiders” for the show’s lack of diversity, and quotes one such insider as lamenting, “The tributes they’ve confirmed are all white.”

We asked a source close to the Grammys to comment on these allegations and what “insiders” might have made them.

“People with too much time on their hands,” our source replied. “This is the most diverse show of any major awards show. Period. More than half our performances and more than half our presenters are people of color. Fuck them.”

We’ll go with our own insider on this one.
