iHeartMedia has tapped Alissa Pollack as EVP Global Music Marketing. In her new post, the media veteran will spearhead an initiative to leverage iHeart's copious listener data and consumer insights. She'll consult with brands and artists to ensure that data informs the most strategic decisions regarding partnerships, events and fan engagement.
She'll also work with Premiere Networks, the iHeart Digital team and the National Programming Group to coordinate programs on all platforms.
"Our goal is to use iHeartMedia's extensive data insights, especially the extensive data we have available on listener behavior, to connect brands to artists in mutually beneficial ways," Pollack pointed out. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go pore over some reports while sipping champers on Bob Pittman's jet."
“No other company has the combination of extensive listener data and artist relationships that we do,” said iHeart Networks prexy Darren Davis, who's running point on the new initiative. “This new Global Music Marketing effort will make it much easier for advertisers and artists to access this vast data and information to make better marketing decisions, faster.”
Speaking of leveraging brand endorsements, there's big news from the Trump camp in Iowa.
So nice to get an endorsement from the founder and owner of Pizza Ranch in Iowa! A great guy and great places! #CaucusForTrump
