ARIGO JOINS COLUMBIA MARKETING TEAM

Frank Arigo has joined Columbia Records as Senior Vice President of Marketing, moving over from Republic Records, Doneen Lombardi, Executive Vice President, Head of Marketing for Columbia, announced.

Arigo worked for Republic from 2007 forward, most recently as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He was involved in marketing campaigns for Amy Winehouse, Florence + The Machine, The Avett Brothers, James Blake, Lorde, The Weeknd, James Bay and others.

“Frank Arigo has been involved with some of the most innovative marketing campaigns and authentic artist development strategies,” Lombardi said. “He is a fantastic addition to our marketing team, and we welcome his knowledge and expertise.”

“The label’s storied history, coupled with such a vital current roster and staff, make for the ultimate music business environment,” Arigo said. ”I look forward to building on the marketing department’s great track record of accomplishment.”

Arigo’s career began in 1996 with Polygram in Boston. He worked as an Artist Development Representative for Universal Motown Republic Group and in 2004, segued to Universal Motown Republic Group as Director of Sales and Field Marketing.

Which bathroom Arigo will use in the new building remains TBA.
