ALL-STAR SLATE FOR MUSICARES GALA

Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Dave Grohl, Demi Lovato, Usher, Lady Antebellum, Florence Welch and Leon Bridges are among the performers announced for the 2016 MusiCares benefit gala on 2/13 in L.A. honoring Person of the Year and all-around mensch Lionel Richie. Jimmy Kimmel will serve as host.

Other slated performers will include Ellie Goulding, John Legend, The Roots, Lenny Kravitz and Yolanda Adams. Proceeds from the 26th annual event will go to MusiCares, a crucial resources for music people in financial, medical and personal need. The organization has done exemplary work, in particular, on behalf of musicians and industry folk struggling with addiction.

Among those holding court at the L.A. Convention Center's West Hall will be Recording Academy chief Neil Portnow, MusiCares Foundation chief Bill Silva and Chair Emeritus Scott Pascucci.

Arrivals, red carpet, cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 5pm PT, with dinner at 8 and the concert/awards presentation kicking off at 9.
