Speaking of 1975, who can forget this World Cup moment?

 NEW U.K. RELEASES: CLASS
OF 2016

The album campaigns for two of the most interesting artists tipped for big success in 2016 look set to step up a gear tomorrow as Dirty Hit/Polydor band The 1975 release new single “The Sound” and Decca/Glassnote’s Aurora comes with “Conqueror,” already rumoured for a BBC Radio 1 B List spot.

Hopes are high for The 1975’s second album, named, quite extensively, I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It (due out on 2/26). It’s the follow-up to their U.K. #1 and platinum-selling self-titled debut that arrived in 2013.

Aurora is a priority for both Glassnote’s U.K. and U.S. team and UMG’s Decca, that have been A&Ring the album with manager Geir Luedy, who’s firm in his belief of the Swedish singer/songwriters’ global star power. The set also has a rather lengthy title of All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend and is out on 3/11.

On the albums front, Coasts is the biggest Blighty born release out tomorrow with their self-titled debut. The WMG/Capitol signed rock band are on Warner U.K.’s tip list for 2016.

Will Bowie, Bieber, Adele and Elvis continue to dominate the U.K. charts next week? Or can the newcomers make their mark? Watch this space.
