Rumor has it Christmas could bring a really nifty gift: nothing less than the availability of The Beatles catalog for streaming.
With Christmas iTunes and Spotify gift cards stuffing millions of stockings, look for the band's music and images to, er, Pepper the media shortly if this turns out to be true.
Calls to rights holders, who are undoubtedly already in a psychedelic haze of holiday recreation, have gone unreturned.
The band behind that other music company called Apple (with their catalog under the auspices of Capitol) would of course up the ante considerably for premium subscriptions. That would be pretty Fab, no?
We can't say for sure if it's true, but it sure would be "Fixing a Hole" in the streaming world's offerings.
