COLDPLAY'S BLIGHTY BOW OUTPACES U.S. SALES DEBUT

Interesting to note that Parlophone's Coldplay sold more records in its first week in the U.K. (236k) than it did in the U.S. (198k). This is a rare occurrence indeed. In both cases, the Brit veterans bowed at #2 behind the monster-selling Adele.
