APPLE MUSIC AND TAYLOR PRESENT 1989 WORLD TOUR LIVE

Apple Music and Taylor Swift have gotten together to present the 1989 World Tour LIVE to subscribers. The filmed performance (directed by Jonas Akerlund at Tay's stop in Sydney before 76k fans on 11/28) will feature the entire concert with various guest stars, backstage material and other content. It'll become available on 12/20.

This marks the first time a major tech entity has offered full video and audio of such a concert and finds Apple unveiling an HBO-like platform for other superstar content. Not surprisingly, Apple is also touting the fact that it has the only streaming service to offer 1989 and the rest of Swift's catalog in its entirety. The service's lack of an unlimited-free tier, of course, made that possible.

Meanwhile, La Swift will sit down with Beats 1's Zane Lowe for an interview on 12/14. The trailer below, inviting viewers to sign up for a free Apple Music trial, went up on Tay's Twitter page on 12/13 (oh, and wish her a Happy Birthday, if you haven't already.
