Caroline, the independent services division of Capitol Music Group, will be relocating to the Capitol Tower with Piero Giramonti and Jacqueline Saturn to serve as GMs, label chief Steve Barnett has announced.
The move will make Caroline the only major indie distribution and label services entity on the West Coast. It will continue to operate under the purview of CMG COO Michelle Jubelirer and EVP Scott Greer.
Giramonti and Saturn, who will also continue to serve as GMs of CMG’s Harvest Records, will oversee all aspects of the division, including its move from NYC to L.A.
Caroline’s strong year has included four #1-selling albums and 12 Grammy noms, including Album of the Year for ATO’s Alabama Shakes.
Barnett praised Giramonti and Saturn’s “true independent spirit” at Harvest, adding that they’re “perfectly positioned” for their new posts at Caroline.
