UMG'S GRAMMY TALLY

Nothing tops off a spectacular year like a brace of Grammy nominations. Just ask Lucian Grainge, whose UMG has totted up 140 nods, including all five Album of the Year contenders, three of the five Best New Artist hopefuls and all three of the most-nominated acts (Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd). Lamar has totted up more nods in a single year, with 11, than any single artist in nearly two decades (Babyface earned 12 in 1996).
