COLUMBIA'S LOMBARDI EARNS EVP STRIPES

Doneen Lombardi has been upped to EVP, Head of Marketing at Rob Stringer's Columbia, EVP/GM Joel Klaiman has announced.

Klaiman praised Lombardi, previously SVP Marketing at the label, as "a dynamic, hardworking, detail-oriented executive who is a perfect fit for this newly expanded role."

Lombardi, who began her career at Capitol and also served at Virgin, has overseen campaigns for Adele, One Direction, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson and AC/DC, among many others.

"I appreciate Rob and Joel giving me the opportunity to lead Columbia's marketing team," she said, adding, "I thank our tireless staff and groundbreaking roster that comprise the most innovative record company in the business."

She then excused herself, explaining that they were clearing her floor so they had somewhere to put the giant stacks of money from this week's Adele sales.
