CEO MEETS CHAIR MAN

Warner Music Nashville is enjoying an unseasonably hot December, as Dan + Shay’s “Nothin’ Like You” hit #1 at Country radio this week. Hot on their heels at #2 is Blake Shelton’s “Gonna,” which is about to give the multimedia star his 16th consecutive #1 (he’s had 21 total). Blake and WMN king John Esposito celebrated by knocking back a few glasses of Macallan 18 and taking promo chief Kevin Herring muddin’ in Oklahoma. Seen thinking that fine scotch improves any photo op are (l-r) Frankie Ballard, Cassandra Lawson of The Railers, Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay, Chris Janson, Shelton, Esposito and Michael Ray.
