In the spirit of yuletide merriment, Stevie Wonder & Andra Day's "Someday at Christmas" (Motown/Warner Bros.), which they sing together in a recently released Apple ad, rockets to #1 on Shazam USA Top 100's Biggest Movers list. Thanks to the power of your TV screen, Empire's "Powerful" (which features Jussie Smollett and Alicia Keys) follows closely as the #2 Biggest Gainer. With the season finale scheduled to air tomorrow (12/2), there's no telling what else could be in store; stay tuned. Meanwhile, Chris Brown's "Back to Sleep," the brand new single he just released off upcoming album Royalty, rounds out the Top 5.
Just outside the Top 5, RCA's Pentatonix makes strides, along with Def Jam's Jeremih and labelmate Justin Bieber.
Across the pond, however, the Biggest Mover honors belong unquestionably to Barns Courtney—whose swampy blues rock single, "Glitter and Gold," was just featured in ITV's Winter promotional advertisement. The track impressively leaped #159-42. Adele's follow-up to "Hello," "When We Were Young," meanwhile stands tall as the #3 Biggest Mover in Blighty.
