Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams has been confirmed for the 12/4 Q4 slot after the album’s first official single “Adventure of a Lifetime” debuted on Chris EvansRadio 2 Breakfast Show this morning. It’s the band’s seventh and possibly final album, and will be released via Parlophone. An intriguing cast of collaborators is on hand, with more guests than have ever graced a Coldplay album before.

Those names include Beyoncé, former Oasis leader Noel Gallagher, Swedish dance vocalist Tove Lo and soul great Merry Clayton. The 12-track set has been produced by Rik Simpson and Norwegian duo Stargate and recorded in Malibu, Henson in Hollywood and Air Studios in London. It was teased via posters spotted on London’s Underground last week, followed by Coldplay posting gifs of the album’s artwork and sound clips on Monday.

“Adventure of a Lifetime” is out now a la carte and as an instant-grat offering for those preordering A Head Full of Dreams, which opened this morning.

The group will appear on Evans’ recently revitalized U.K. TV show TFI Friday this evening. After speaking to Evans, the band then appeared on Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 show and were added to the Radio 2 A list and Radio 1 B list.

A Head Full of Dreams is the follow-up to 2014's Ghost Stories, Coldplay's sixth consecutive worldwide chart-topper and multimillion seller. The band chose not to tour the “quiet and small” Ghost Stories and headed straight back into the studio to record A Head Full of Dreams, an album that they told Evans is “colorful, and the sound of us being free, happy and very grateful to be in our group.” A worldwide tour will be announced in due course.

Coldplay is managed by Dave Holmes and has been with Parlophone throughout the band’s 15-year career.
