Sony/ATV has renewed its pub deal with singer/songwriter Sia Furler, whose RCA album 1000 Forms of Fear yielded such hits as "Chandelier" and whose forthcoming set features a song co-penned with Adele.
She will no longer be able to wear that paper bag on her head, however, as it is now stuffed with cash.
Among the other major artists Sia has written with or for: Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, David Guetta, Pitbull, Maroon 5 ... well, a lot, is what we're saying.
"Sia is a unique and extraordinarily special songwriter to Sony/ATV and we are so proud to have been part of her career for such a long time," proclaimed pubco chief Marty Bandier. "So I am delighted that we have been able to renew our agreement with her and I look forward to many more successes to come."
Sony/ATV U.K. Managing Director and President of European Creative Guy Moot, meanwhile, declared her "a true artist with an amazing gift for writing incredible songs both for herself and other people" and "an unpredictably wonderful talent," predicting many more bags filled with money for everyone.
