In a new interview with The Guardian (quickly picked up by Rolling Stone), Don Henley rehashed his feelings about Frank Ocean, who "illegally" sampled The Eagles' "Hotel California" on his "American Wedding" in 2011. “Some of these young kids have grown up in a world that doesn’t understand or respect copyright material or intellectual property,” Henley shared. “They look at songs as interactive playthings... I thought he was a talentless little prick. And I still do.”

The interviewer then asked if he would feel differently if it was Kanye. “No, I’d be just as pissed off. I don’t like him, either. He won’t be president. He’s either incredibly arrogant or incredibly insecure, or some combination of the two.” Leave it to Henley to give the world a piece of his mind.

Also present for the interview was Irving Azoff, who manages Henley. On Azoff, he stated, “He’s Satan, but he’s our Satan... He’s mellowed. He used to be a holy terror. Some of that reputation is undeserved. He’ll go to the mat for his artists. But if you’re the enemy – look out.”
