The video for Sam Smith’s James Bond theme “Writing’s on the Wall” has been teased—the chilling 15-second clip shows a suave Smith looking pensive while sashaying through a regal stone building with a row of coffins draped by the Brit flag.
It’s been produced by Smith’s longterm collaborator Luke Monaghan, and goes on to intersperse cutaways from Spectre with shots of Smith filmed in the same locations.
After premiering on BBC Radio 1 last Friday, “Writing’s on the Wall” is now on track to score a #1 on the Official U.K. Charts this Friday. If it secures the top spot, Smith’s song will make history as the first-ever Bond theme song to reach #1.
