iHEART FEST: IT DIDN'T STAY IN VEGAS

At this weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas, Republic's Hailee Steinfeld receives a plaque from iHeart programming supremo Tom Poleman and Premiere Networks' Alissa Pollack. The presentation recognized Steinfeld earning the the highest chart debut of any first-time charting artist on Mediabase Top 40. Later, 63 showgirls dressed as cheetahs danced out of Bob Pittman's jet.

The plaque action continued as Poleman and Pollack bestowed honors on Diplo for Major Lazer's "Lean On," the first Mediabase #1 Pop hit on an artist-owned independent label (his own Mad Decent). After this photo was snapped, Diplo pushed a button on his laptop and a dance party ensued.

The following people paused for a photo op before collaborating on a hardcore hip hop mixtape with Rich Bressler: Capitol artist Tori Kelly; Alissa Pollack; Alissa's hubby, Robert Kennedy; and Shazam’s Peter Szabo.
