YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES U.K. CHARTS

Rock woke up in Britain last week thanks to the old warhorses in Iron Maiden, and this week the younger generation is keeping the pedal to the metal—no, not literally. Bring Me the Horizon, Stereophonics and reanimated bad boys The Libertines are all on the iTunes big board at the moment, three and a half days after release.

The three bands are sharing the real estate with the requisite NOW and Ministry of Sound comps, along with a trio of long-term occupants in The Weeknd, James Bay and Jess Glynne. All in all, a nicely balanced Top 10, stylistically speaking.

By contrast, the singles chart is relatively static, as Sigala and the Biebs maintain their positions from a week ago—and two weeks ago, for that matter—with nary a debut in sight.
