It's all about The Weeknd in iTunes, with TWO tracks in the Top Five singles while Beauty Behind the Madness is ensconced at #1 on the albums chart. Halsey's Badlands sits at #2, while Tori Kelly has clearly benefited from her VMAs appearance, as her album Unbreakable moves Top 5.
Bieber is also making a strong showing post-VMAs; "What Do You Mean?" has been entrenched at #1 since he released the track on Friday, while the Skrillex/Diplo collaboration that has helped relaunch his career, "Where Are U Now," is getting a big boost in singles sales, ascending to #9.
In Taylor Swift land, apparently there are still people out there who don't yet own 1989. It climbs back to #3, while her newest single, "Wildest Dreams," powered by a fantastic new video, is now #3 . Another VMAs bow, the new one from Macklemore, is making a strong showing as well.
