DOWNLOAD THIS: GANGSTA EDITION

Clearly the Millennials have discovered the joys of old-school gangsta rap, as two different versions of N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton (priced to move) burst into the Top Ten album sales while Dr. Dre posts up at #1 with his brand new companion piece Compton and at #9 with his G-Funk classic The Chronic— the making of which was partly chronicled in the film.

On the singles side, Rachel Platten rockets back to #1 with "Fight Song" while the rest of the Top Ten remains a tightly packed traffic jam of smashes. The Weeknd is killing it with two singles, "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills," while Omi, R. City, Major Lazer and Silento continue to demonstrate massive staying power.
