GOOGLE'S ALPHABET SOUP

Changes in its operating structure will cause Google and associated properties such as YouTube to become part of a holding company, Alphabet. All Google shares will automatically convert to Alphabet; Google shares moved up 5% on the news. Larry Page will be CEO of the new entity, Sergey Brin will serve as president and Eric Schmidt will assume the mantle of executive chairman. If it becomes necessary to declare bankruptcy, that will fall to Donald Trump, who promises to "make a fantastic deal."
