WHOA, NELLY—THE "FIX" IS IN: RECORDS' FIRST RECORD
RECORDS, the Barry Weiss-led recording partnership with SONGS Music Publishing, is rolling out its first title, "The Fix" by Nelly featuring Jeremih, on 8/14. The DJ Mustard/Mike Free-produced jam, a contemporary spin on "Sexual Healing," serviced to radio and digital services today, also got a hearing at today's iHeart Summit and reportedly earned a hearty response.
Nelly, already a SONGS writer (most recently heard on the smash Florida Georgia Line "Cruise" remix), became RECORDS' first signing just two weeks ago. Mustard and Free are also signed to SONGS.
