Karen Glauber is in a nostalgic mood at the moment, partly because 7/13 was the 30th anniversary of Live Aid at Philly's JFK Stadium, for which she managed to snag an all-access pass, with more than a little help from Simple Minds. A perusal of this week's Modern Rock chart then got Karen thinking about 2006, when she pitched—unsuccessfully, of course—a "Rock for Girls" format. Given current trends, maybe she should try pitching the concept again.
