DIGITS RAISED AT CAPITOL TOWER

At CMG, Meredith Gardner and Josh Kahn have jointly been upped to the post of VP of Digital Marketing & Product, EVP Greg Thompson told the world this morning. Together, Gardner and Kahn will lead the company’s digital strategy from their perches at the renovated Capitol Tower. They report to Thompson.

The two execs are Capitol war veterans; Kahn joined the then-beleaguered company in 2007, Gardner two years later. To this day, they cringe at the mere mention of the words “terra,” “firma,” “guy” and “hands.”

“Meredith and Josh bring a wealth of experience to their new positions,” Thompson stated for the record, “and I’m confident they will continue to bring creativity and smarts to our digital campaigns as well as unify our digital and social-media experts throughout the company into a cohesive team.” 

Gardner was next up. “It’s been inspiring to witness all the positive changes at the Tower these last couple of years under the guidance of Steve, Greg and the entire executive team,” she reflected. “I’d like to thank all of them for this exceptional opportunity and their incredible support of Josh and me in our new roles. I’m thrilled to work closely with Josh and our group to develop the digital strategy at CMG with the exceptional roster of artists who call it home.”

For his part, Kahn is “extremely excited to partner with Meredith to shape the future of CMG’s digital strategy. Together, with the incredible support of Steve, Greg, the whole executive staff and our outstanding roster of artists, we are ready to lead this amazing CMG team to new successes.”
