A ZANE-Y SCREW-UP

Last Thursday we posted a rumor emanating out of the U.K. that Zane Lowe had hired über-manager Sarah Stennett to rep him for management. During the last four years, Stennett has orchestrated the careers of her former client Jessie J and current clients Iggy, Ellie and Rita, deftly and simultaneously branding them in both the music and fashion sectors.

Each of Stennett’s clients has achieved some degree of chart success; what is less widely recognized is that their brands are even bigger than their sizable record sales.

Sources inside Stennett’s Turn First have politely pointed out that we got it wrong—that it's not the ever-popular Zane Lowe but another even more famous Brit with the same given name, or something very close to it. Lowe is still repped by JHO Management, and we apologize to all concerned for being thrown off by the Welsh accent of our anonymous source.
