SALES UPDATE:
TOP 10 TRACKS

Up 18% on the week, “Cheerleader” from Ultra/Columbia’s OMI is starting to look like the 2015 equivalent of Magic!’s “Rude,” the loping pop-reggae cut that was everywhere last summer. Interestingly, the Felix Jaehn remix, the hit version of the record, smooths out the reggae bump of the original and adds Auto-tune, making it less indigenously Jamaican-sounding than “Rude,” which, you’ll recall, was the work of a bunch of guys from Canada. Ain’t pop culture wacky.

Its primarily challenger may well be “Fight Song” from another Columbia rookie, Rachel Platten (+35%, #7-4), as Rob Stringer’s crew heats up along with the weather.

Those two are the only occupants of the big board on upward trajectories, though Andy Grammer’s breakout hit “Honey I’m Good” (S-Curve/Hollywood) was virtually flat. The lone new title is The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” (XO/Republic), which essentially replaces the same artist’s “The Hills” in the Top 10; the latter track is #13 and down just 5%.
