SAM SITS IN SILENCE

After three weeks in strict silence, Sam Smith spoke to Nick Grimshaw on this morning’s BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show about his experiences post-throat surgery, after the Grammy-winning singer strained his vocal chords on the Australian leg of his 2015 world tour.

Among Sam's biggest frustrations was the inability to be naughty, because he couldn't use swear words with the voice app on his phone (damn you, autocorrect). Sam also discussed how the break was "a blessing in disguise" and the plans for his tour moving forward. You can check out the entire interview here.
