HILLARY WINS L.A., NYC

Khaleesi Is Coming to Westeros.

Epic chief L.A. Reid hosted a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton at his NYC home yesterday, drawing the likes of Beyoncé, Meghan Trainor, Sharon Osbourne and other stars and power peeps, according to reports in the New York Daily News and elsewhere. Attendees are said to have contributed $2,700 to attend, though checkbooks likely stayed open throughout.

The diverse gathering of monied liberals from the entertainment world seems especially designed to make GOP heads explode. To quote President Obama's anger translator, "Khaleesi is coming to Westeros."


An array of prominent women in pop culture have lately been tweeting on behalf of Hillary, including Ariana Grande, Amy Poehler and Lena Dunham. Meanwhile, in a bid to appeal to female voters, the Republican Congress has passed a bill that would ban lascivious dancing.
