The Avengers Remains Massive; Hot Pursuit Debuts Top 5

Disney/Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron remains the #1 grossing film in the States for a second week in a row. Earning $72m, the film snagged the second-highest second-weekend gross ever, racing past Fox's Avatar, which earned $75.6m in 2009, and surpassed only by its predecessor, which earned $103m in 2012. Warner Bros.' Hot Pursuit debuts with $13m at #2.

3. The Age of Adaline (Lionsgate) $5.6m 3,070/$1,824 (week 3)

5. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (Sony) $5.2m 3,201/$1,621 avg. (week 4)

Internationally, the Avengers sequel has amassed a whopping $875m, even though it is yet to open in Japan orChina. It's set to hit those respective theaters on Tuesday.
