Disney Appoints Karen Lieberman to SVP Sales & Digital

Karen Lieberman has been tapped for the newly created position of VP Sales & Digital at Disney Music Group, SVP Global Business Operations and Distribution David Abdo announced today.

She most recently served as VP Digital Marketing & Strategy at Kobalt Music. Now at the Burbank-based behemoth, she will develop campaigns and strategies for upcoming releases. Projects range Demi Lovato and ZZ Ward to soundtracks for Marvel films and the Star Wars franchise.

“I am extremely grateful to David Abdo and Ken Bunt for this tremendous opportunity, and for welcoming me to the dynamic team at DMG,” Lieberman shared.

Rumor has it that Bunt might even let her take a celebratory ride on his very own Frozen scooter.
