The Avengers destroys at the box office, as sequel Age of Ultron earns the second biggest box office opening ever with $188m, coming up just short of its 2012 predecessor's record $207m bow. Still wildly impressive, $188m makes up 85% of the Top 12 box office, breaking the previous record held by Spider-Man 3, which accounted for 83% during its release weekend in 2007.
