BOEHLY BAILING?

Todd Boehly the President of Guggenheim Partners, owners of the L.A. Dodgers, Dick Clark Productions, and the trade publications that are now part of Guggenheim Media, including Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, is considering leaving the investment firm and running his own shop, sources told the New York Post’s Claire Atkinson. “Todd is out, and they’re working on a way for him to exit,” the source said. Boehly is reportedly discussing the possibility of taking some of the assets he helped Guggenheim acquire. Those include the trade mags, acquired from Nielsen for around $70m in 2009, which are said to be losing in the neighborhood of $25m a year.
