Rockers Blow the Roof Off iHeartRadio Theater

RCA's Foo Fighters rocked the iHeartRadio Theater in L.A. last night, performing live and sitting for an interview with Chelsea Handler.

The hour-long event was broadcast live on iHeart Alternative, Active Rock, Mainstream rock, Classic Rock, Pop, Hot AC, Sports and News-Talk stations as well as online; it celebrated the success of the band's Sonic Highways album and the 4/7 DVD/Blu-ray drop of their HBO series.

Heavies in attendance included iHeart prexy John Sykes, EVP and Alt/Rock Marketing head Brad Hardin, Andrew Jeffries, Premiere Networks' Alissa Pollack, Mike Kaplan, the Woody Show troupe, Shauna Moran and RCA's Dennis Blair, Wendy Goodman, Danny Cooper, Lori G, Mika El-Baz and Claudia Butzky.

During the interview, frontman Dave Grohl (has charm turned up to 10) discussed the band's experiences in the various cities that made up the TV series and even teased the possibility of a Vegas residency in the near future. The band's set included high points from Highways and such hits as "Pretender," "My Hero," "These Days" and set-closer "Everlong."

"Foo Fighters lit up the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles last night, performing a loud, hit-driven 90-minute set," declared iHeart EVP of Programming and Alternative/Rock Brand Manager Hardin. "Lucky fans were blown away with the show and the candid Q&A with the band hosted by Chelsea Handler. I would like to thank the Foo Fighters team, including John Silva, Gaby Skolnek, Joe Riccitelli and Dennis Blair at RCA for the partnership on this huge event."
