APPLE TO SPRING FORWARD

You remember Apple’s last dog-and-pony show back in September, right? Tim Cook’s got another one coming up March 9 at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and we don’t anticipate an encore performance from U2.

The thinly veiled reference to time on the invitation leaves little doubt that the company will introduce its first all-new device since 2010, when Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad. But will Cook focus exclusively on the Apple Watch—described by tech mavens as its most important product in years—next week? Could we get a preview of the company’s Beats Music-driven streaming service? Will Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre take the stage?

You love surprises, don’t you? So do we.
