Birdman Takes Best Picture, more; Selma Theme Wins Song

It was Birdman's night, as the magical-realist showbiz fable won Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Director honors at the 87th Oscars.

As expected, Eddie Redmayne took Best Actor for The Theory of Everything, Julianne Moore nabbed Best Actress for Still Alice, and J.K. Simmons and Patricia Arquette earned supporting statuettes for Whiplash and Boyhood, respectively.

Best Song went to Common and John Legend for "Glory" from Selma; the pair's performance earned a standing O and has catapulted the song into the iTunes Top 5 more Oscar retail repercussions here).
