With the lust-filled air of Valentine's Day among us, Universal's Fifty Shades of Grey spanked the box office and broke records, becoming the highest-grossing debut in Presidents Day-weekend history with $82m—and that's just through Sunday. It's also the fifth-largest gross for a Fri.-Sun. R-rated debut, and it marks the biggest opening weekend for a film directed by a woman...ever. The estimated four-day total is $94m and change.
