What to Expect at Three Key Mediabase Formats

Hey Buddy! Ya got all those important Valentine's Day promotions lined up for the weekend? Gotta troll for female 25-54 TSL; we get it. In the meantime, marinate over the future for music at these three key Mediabase formats:

TOP 40
For the fourth week in a row, Mark Ronson "Uptown Funk" f/Bruno Mars is #1, plus RCA has another track moving quickly through the Top 10 in Pitbull "Time of Our Lives" f/Ne-Yo which climbs up to #7. Republic/Big Machine's Taylor Swift "Style" is this week's Greatest Gainer, jumping up to #6 and looking poised for the top of the chart soon. Maroon 5 "Sugar" (Interscope) joins the Top 10. Roc Nation/Def Jam moves Rihanna/Kanye/McCartney Top 15. Charting this week will be Republic's Ariana Grande "One Last Time" and Capitol's Tori Kelly "Nobody Love."

RHYTHM
RCA will once again retain the top slot as Mark Ronson "Uptown Funk" f/ Bruno Mars holds for a second week. Pitbull "Time Of Our Lives" f/ Ne-Yo looks like it could make a play for #1 in just two weeks, as it vaults to #4 and up over 600 spins. Republic has four records inside the Top 10, with Nicki Minaj "Truffle Butter" f/ Drake and Lil Wayne, and Natalie La Rose "Somebody" f/ Jeremih both having very impressive gains. Def Jam's Rihanna/Kanye/Paul McCartney "FourFiveSeconds" has another big week, as does Republic's The Weeknd "Earned It". Taylor Swift's "Style" (Republic/Big Machine) will debut this week.

ALTERNATIVE
RCA will get their third consecutive #1 as Walk The Moon's "Shut Up And Dance" will take over the top spot on Monday! Epic's Modest Mouse goes Top 5 with "Lampshades On Fire." Robert DeLong's "Long Way Down" (Glassnote) jumps into the Top 10 at #8. Red Bull's AWOLNATION "Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)" is up over 150x this week and should be in the Top 10. Incubus (Island) moves 39-29 with "Absolution Calling." Offspring gains 200x with "Coming For You" (Time Bomb) and is now inside the Top 30. Roswell/RCA's Foo Fighters will have a strong chart debut for "Congregation." Interpol (Matador) looks to chart with "Everything Is Wrong," as does Fall Out Boy with "Uma Thurman" (DCD2/Island). Capitol impressively debuts the buzzing In The Valley Below's "Peaches."
