GRAMMY DRUMROLL INTENSIFIES: UPDATE

A Collaboration Bonanza

Katy Perry will follow her Super Bowl halftime set with a Grammy performance, it was announced today. Perry will deliver the intimate "By the Grace of God," which should be a marked contrast to the spectacle of last Sunday (and will almost certainly not bring about the apocalypse).

Social media began buzzing yesterday with the news that Beyoncé will join John Legend and Common for "Glory" from the celebrated film Selma.

The above makes six anticipated collaborations that have been revealed. Previously announced: dark-horse Album of the Year nominee Beck will perform a song from Morning Phase with Coldplay’s Chris Martin; Mary J. Blige will join Sam Smith for a duet, as expected; Brandy Clark and Dwight Yoakam will team up; Herbie Hancock, John Mayer and ?uestlove will provide Ed Sheeran with an all-star backing band; and Sheeran will also share the stage with Jeff Lynne’s recently reunited ELO. Also set to perform are four-time Grammy nominee Sia, Juanes and Lang Lang, who, it says here, will add his musicality to one of this year's most infectious songs.
