Songwriter-musician-producer Damon Albarn tops the 20 names of influential music people on social register Debrett's list of 500 noteworthy folks from 24 sectors across British society.

Music execs on the list include BBC head of music TV Mark Cooper (#3), SYCO chief Simon Cowell (#4), BBC Radio 1 head of music George Ergatoudis (#5), UMG ruler Lucian Grainge (#6), Sony U.K. topper Jason Iley (#9), Universal U.K. capo David Joseph (#10), Warner U.K. chief Max Lousada (#11), promoter Simon Moran (#13) and iTunes' Oliver Schusser (#16).

Other artists on the list include James Blake, Calvin Harris, One Direction, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.
