Jacko on Murray

DOCTOR, DOCTOR: Michael Jackson reportedly boasted that disgraced Dr. Conrad Murray was the "best in the world" who "understands what I need" just days before the medic administered drugs that killed the pop icon. As Jackson prepared for a rehearsal June 23, he told aides how much faith he had in the physician, claiming, "I trust this guy with my life... He makes me feel good about myself, and young again," according to Britain's The News of the World yesterday. Jackson died just two days later from a lethal combination of anesthetics and other sedatives. The LA DA has charged Murray with involuntary manslaughter. (2/22a)
