Minus the Bear to Dangerbird

CAN’T BEAR IT: Seattle indie darlings Minus the Bear have inked to Jeff Castelaz’s Silver Lake-based Dangerbird Records, home of Grammy-nominated Best New Artist Silversun Pickups. The band is handled by 3D Management. Throughout their career, the quintet has garnered critical praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Spin, URB, Paste and Alternative Press and amassed an ever-growing fanbase. The announcement of the signing bumped Dangerbird into the Top 10 trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. earlier today. (2/22p)
