BEAUTIFUL, DIRTY, RICH: Songwriter/producer Rob Fusari has filed a $35 million lawsuit against Lady Gaga, saying his protégé and former girlfriend ditched him as her career soared, the AP reports. "All business is personal," said the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in a Manhattan state court. A friend introduced singer/pianist Stefani Germanotta to Fusari in March 2006, and he spent the next several months working with her every day, "radically reshaping her approach," according to his lawsuit, co-writing songs including "Paparazzi" and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" and transforming Germanotta into Lady Gaga. The suit claims their relationship turned romantic and became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child LLC. Fusari's says his share was 20%—and that’s the key to the litigation. He has a producer’s credit on The Fame and acknowledges getting checks for about $611k, but says that isn't his full share.
