MTV Green Day Hit Broadway

MTV, GREEN DAY GIVE REGARDS TO BROADWAY: MTV and Green Day are teaming up to celebrate the April 20 Broadway premiere of the new musical American Idiot, with a series of promotions throughout the month. The daily pieces of original content and customized promo spots, including performances, show rehearsals, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and more will air on MTV as well as all its online platforms and sister channels. The network will take over the St. James Theatre opening week, giving 300 fans the opportunity to attend an exclusive first look. Beginning on Tuesday, April 6 through Sunday, April 11, viewers can go to americanidiot.mtv.com to win tickets to a special April 22 performance. MTV Games and Harmonix release the Green Day: Rock Band game on June 8. (4/6a)
