CBS' radio.com app for iPad

NEXT-GEN RADIO: CBS Interactive Music Group has wasted no time jumping on the iPad bandwagon, creating the new Radio.com app. According to the CBS Radio press release, the app includes “…programming from CBS Radio and its streaming partners, including Yahoo Music, among others, with Last.fm’s proprietary scrobbling technology, artist pages, photo galleries, charts, and event listings.” Looks pretty cool to us, though we have yet to play with it. Previewing the app on lostremote.com, Steve Safran noted that “It’s very ‘next-gen radio,’ and I have a feeling its features will be copied (lawyers on your marks…).” (4/7a)
