RADIO PROMO WACKY WACKY: Feels like 1987 again. Not since Elektra sent out strippers to promote Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls have we seen such an innovative radio campaign as the Capitol/EMI promo troops visiting stations in shark costumes to promote red-hot U.K. diva VV Brown's "Shark in the Water." John Belushi must be rolling in his grave. At left, Capitol/EMI VP Adult formats Patty Morris humiliates herself for an add, while at right, SE Regional yahoo Chris Siciliano dishonors his legacy with Star 94 Atlanta's Michael Chase (l) and JR Ammons (r), who still refuse to play the song without turning the promo man into chum.
