APPLE RULES Q2: Apple announced its Q2 results for the period ending March 27, posting revenue of $13.50 billion and net quarterly profit of $3.07 billion, compared to $9.08 billion and net quarterly profit of $1.62 billion, in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 58% of the quarter's revenue. The company sold 2.94 million computers during the quarter, a 33% increase over the year-ago quarter; 8.75 million iPhones, a 131% unit growth, and 10.89 million iPods, a 1% unit decline.
