Quantcast
add Michael Jackson-Cirque de Soleil deal

RAISING THE BAR: Cirque commandante Daniel Lamarre said that Jackson visited the Cirque studio in 2004, and that the company had discussed creating a show with him several times over the years. “We have never felt the pressure as we have now,” Lamarre told the N.Y. Times. “Michael Jackson made so many breakthroughs in the history of entertainment that we have no choice—we have to deliver new technology, new material and an artistic content that will have no parallel.” (4/21a)
